I suggest taking up a hobby like gardening or birdwatching or dog training which is basically solitary but connects you with others with the same interests. The vet tech idea is excellent. He's graduating high school this year- he's not sure what he wants to BE as an adult but I have no doubt whatever he decides, he will continue to make us proud! <br />I can't help but notice Scout in your picture as a dog lover myself- have you given any thought to being a Vet tech... If you love animals you might enjoy it! Thank you for sharing your story and good luck in whatever choices you make for the future~Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738070699265994888.post-21402010721474065182011-05-06T09:18:06.230-07:002011-05-06T09:18:06.230-07:00Dear Abbie,

I will share that with my whole family. I am mother to four little children and my 5 year old daughter has partial agenesis of the corpus callosum. She is so amazing and has added so much to our life. She is quite delayed (not potty-trained, not talking at all) and stories like yours give me so much hope and a much better understanding of what she might be experiencing. Thank you again for sharing! If you'd like a "pen-pal" in Texas, I'd love to chat sometimes!
